The beastman girl’s name seems to be Eleanor.

While taking a break, I listened to Eleanor’s life story.

At first, I tried to release her slavery status via dark magic, I want to try it at any cost.

She said she wanted to repay me for saving her from becoming the bandit’s slave.

Even if she was freed from being a slave, she insisted 「I’m coming!」

My intuition was telling me that she was not a bad person, so I decided to let her tag along because really, I had no choice.

It seems that she used to hunt monsters in the past and can handle weak monsters.

If I use creation, I should be able to assist in her strengthening.

My current objective is to reunite with Airi and Lisa in Midogal.

So, from now on I will travel around the world and see various things.

I decided to make new clothes for Eleanor because hers are all tattered.

After listening to Eleanor himself, I also asked about slaves.

Since I was only five years old when I was in Dallas, I did not know the details of this world’s slavery system.

Because I was not interested, I did not look it up at the library either.

According to the story I heard from Eleanor, there seem to be other slave property rights other than what I heard about in the village.

It is said that if the owner dies for some reason, the slave belongs to the person that has found it, there are many such cases in dungeons.

If the owner dies due to old age, like any other property, it goes to the bereaved family.

If there are no bereaved families, the lord of the land where one lived seems to become the owner.

Also, it is not good to sit with one’s master when eating meals, violation of that order causes the slave collar to tighten.

From what I’ve heard, slaves were still treated as things, I thought that there was not any dignity as a person.

I dislike unjust things, I became disgusted when listening, but in this world slavery is legal.

Because I think there are various businesses that rely on slaves, I don’t think slavery will be abolished.

However, I will treat my slave with respect and with the dignity a person deserves.

While we were making weapons, dresses and item pouches for Eleanor, we finished listening to her life story and the in and outs of slavery, so we decided to depart.

During the time I was manufacturing Eleanor’s items, she looked at me intently with sparkling eyes.

I wonder if she is interested in her clothes?

However, regarding girls’ clothes, I was ashamed of what I’ve made because I have no sense.

It was just processing the leather and arranging the appearance of the dress.

I was afraid to give it to her but since she received it with a wide grin, I think she is pretty happy.

As I’ve gotten together with Eleanor, the speed of my journey has fallen, but it has become much more comfortable than when I have been travelling alone for all this time.

I think that I was mentally and spiritually exhausted because I’ve lost three people.

We walked till the evening and decided to set up camp.

「I’ll be setting up camp now, so please wait there, Eleanor.」

「Yes, I understand. I would like you to let me know what I can do to help though.」

 

I nodded to Eleanor’s request.

First of all, light magic is used to create a barrier and the grill for grilling meat and a chair that has also been created is made with earth magic.

A partition was made with mud wall and two hot baths with fire, water, earth magic.

Eleanor watches me suspiciously.

I’ll just keep working to improve the mood.

I took out shampoo, conditioner and body soap from the item box and handed it to Eleanor.

I grilled additional meat post haste and made her eat lots.

I watched the appearance of Eleanor eating.

Until a short while ago, she had tattered clothes, her hair and body were dirty and I could not flatter her and call her beautiful.

However, she looks beautiful now after her bath.

And I was surprised that her usual figure was pretty cute.

She has a bob cut hairstyle.

Her ears have chestnut coloured tips and a chestnut coloured tail.

She has slightly drooping eyes and a generous well-developed chest.

Her height is around 155cm.

Because I am also a man, travelling with cute girls as expected makes me happy, so I thought this was fine.

I did not really care that she was ruining her cute face by eating too quickly.

After eating, I intended on passing my time chatting to Eleanor.

I was getting tired as we chatted till midnight and Eleanor was dozing off.

Seeing that, I urged Eleanor to go to sleep in the tent.

After that, I thought about the direction I should take to strengthen Eleanor.

Considering we would be travelling together in the future, I think that it is necessary to power up the basics even if our weapons and armour were different.

After thinking a lot, I finally gathered my ideas, so I decided to sleep after using creation.

Due to the fact that I had a barrier up, there were no problems with sleeping.

The barrier would negate an intrusion.

Matching with my growth, the strength of the barrier was getting stronger and stronger.

Eleanor was already sleeping, I made the tent larger, so I saw no problems sleeping there too.

It goes without saying for the health of my sanity, there has to be some distance when we sleep in the same tent.

Eleanor

My name is Eleanor.

I’m 15 years old and I’m part of the dog beastman race.

I was born is a regional city called Rusoburu in the Fur Milan Kingdom.

I am a slave.

When I was younger, we seemed to have enough money but when I got to 10 years old, my father told me 「You need to start earning money because times are tough.」 So I hunted in the forest for a daily income.

That sort of life ended when I became 13.

The reason for that was my father died.

Father seemed to have borrowed money when he was alive, a slave merchant arrived at my home as soon as father died.

In place of my father’s debt, I became a slave.

When I became a slave, I was educated a lot and I was bought by Oran, a merchant, at the age of four when I could read and write to some extent.

Compared with before being a slave, the quality and amount of meals, the amount of sleep and place to sleep was terrible.

However, as long as I have performed my duties to the business properly, there was no violence, so I think that it was better than the horrible stories of other slaves I had heard about.

Such a life continued for a year, then a 100 bandits attacked the village where master was trading at.

Due to being the one with gold, the merchant was the one that stood out, master was killed.

That instant, I knew my future, despair struck.

Though I was not killed, my treatment was determined as I was a slave.

If the owner of a slave was killed, the ownership of said slave goes to the killer.

Even if the killer of the owner has been caught by the town guards, the ownership gets transferred to the lord of the town. As the village has been overrun, I think that option is now no longer possible.

Until now, my master had not laid his hands on my body as long as I did the books for the business but it already seems obvious what the bandits would be like.

If only my first person would have a decent personality.

I’m still a girl after all.

Just as I watched the village getting trampled in despair, I noticed the thieves were getting dispatched to the next life quickly by a silver-haired man.

And, with surprising swiftness, the person who was called the leader of the bandits who killed my master and became my owner newly also died.

Looking at that scene, at last, the remaining bandits ran away.

I think that the next owner has become the man with the silver hair and so I will go greet him. (TN: She has such a ruff life, bad pun, I know but it had to be made!)

I am nervous.

Even though I despaired a little while ago……

The silver-haired man is so strong and cool.

This is bad!

The beastman race is attracted strong people and my heart just skipped a beat. (TN: キュン Kyun)

Surely there must be hearts in my eyes!

I absolutely want to be this person’s slave!

I made up my mind to go talk to the man with silver hair!

To all of this, I furrowed my brows as expected.

Then, a girl approached me.

Dressed in tattered clothes, wearing a collar and with dog ears growing out of her head.

I’ve yet to see the real thing though.

The beastman girl came up to me, bowed then suddenly spoke to me.

At that moment, my thoughts froze.

Even though there should be high-speed parallel thinking ……

I managed to reboot my brain and heard her story.

Listening to the story, apparently, she was the slave of a merchant who unfortunately got killed by a bandit, then that bandit was sent to the great beyond by me.

So it seemed that her ownership went from the merchant to the bandit then to me.

So the collar that this child is wearing is a slavery collar?

For sure, when I appraised the collar, it showed up as a slavery collar.

The villagers got really noisy when I refused to take the beastman girl as my slave.

However, no matter how much I refused, the beastman girl said, 「It is slave law, so it is decided.」

Even though I was persistent, it looks like I lost.

Even though it was unreasonable, when you live in this world I guess one would have to abide by the rules of the world? I thought it over.

In the end, when a villager walked towards us, we introduced ourselves to each other.

The villager shoved the beastman girl aside to talk to me 「Talk to the reasonable me.」

「I’m the village chief, Garro, It is still possible to chase down the bandits if you hurry! Please go annihilate the bandits!」

The other villagers joined in chorus with the village chief, hurriedly urging 「Hurry, hurry. 」

I thought, what are they talking about? This guy named Garo-san and the villagers.

It seemed that a number of villagers seem to have died, and it seemed that looting had also been carried out and the village can not afford it.

But, meeting me for the first time, then ordering me around…… are they stupid?

Facial features are charming and very cute.

She has blue hair that extends down to her shoulders.

When Dan and Sarah were alive, she worked as their maid.

After Dan and Sarah’s death, she currently is under Lisa’s care and has been temporarily been separated with Louis.

He was an earl and feudal lord of the town of Dallas.

He was killed in a massive explosion created by Sarah.

 

Alfred von Windsor, 22 years old at time of death.

The eldest son of Pierre von Windsor.

He was aiming to make Sarah his mistress, in his actions to do this, caused Sarah to lose control and was killed in the explosion that Sarah caused.

 

 

Carla, 19 years old at time of death.

Under orders from Alfred, she was temporarily employed by the adventurer guild in Dallas just to get to Dan.

Maid of the Windsor family.

She was killed in the explosion created by Sarah.

 

 

Spirit of Chronos (Age unknown)

It was sealed by the Black Dragon many years ago, and at that time 【Time of mourning Labyrinth】 was created.

The seal was released by Louis when he subjugated the black dragon.

Due to insufficient spiritual power, it had to return to to the spirit world.

It sealed the Spirit of Chronos fifty years ago and made the 【Time of mourning Labyrinth】.

It caused the stampede 120 years ago.

It was subjugated by Louis.

Each new journey

 

As soon as I subjugated the Black Dragon, I felt the heavy atmosphere around me scatter.

As I quickly disassembled the corpse of the Black Dragon, put it in the item box and looked around the boss room, there was a transfer point that seemed to be for escaping and there was another room in the back, I will investigate it.

As I entered, I found a Chronos trapped in a crystal.

Steam seemed to be venting off from the crystal body and it seems to be melting quickly. It looks like it will still take some time to for the crystal to melt completely.

So, in the meantime, I decided to examine the various bits of metal scattered around the room as well as the red gem embedded into the wall.

As I examine the metals, Mythril was the most common, there was silver, gold, and also a little Orichalcum, so I decided to keep them in the item box as well.

When I looked at the red gem, I concluded that it was most likely the dungeon core.

In order to prevent a stampede from occurring in the future, I removed the dungeon core from the wall and put it in the item box.

After waiting for about 20 minutes, it seems that the crystal has completely melted down, Chronos regained consciousness and started talking to me.

「 Louis, thank you for helping me this time.

Now that the seal has melted, my spiritual body has become one with me and the memories of my spiritual body have come to me too, I now understand the situation.

It has been one year since I have left Airi and Lisa, I have spent those days training in Chronos’ space-time space.

When I was checking out the black dragon’s appraisal result, a laser shaped black breath flew this way.

I hurriedly switch my attention to battle mode and avoided the breath.

With the light magic, Sunshine Ring, I floated 30 circles of light to surround Black Dragon, hampering its movement.

Though it was not a decisive move.

I was fighting in an endurance fight and because the Black Dragon’s movements are sealed by sunshine rings, its movements are getting steadily worse.

And with a momentary gap, I moved the short distance via instant steps near Back Dragon’s wing and also cut off the other wing.

Black Dragon screamed and raged.

I thought that I saw this as an opportunity, I further confined the black dragon’s neck to the ground using the earth magic, rock prison.

Then my Mythril greatsword flashed.

「Diamond speed wave slash!」

I slashed through Black Dragon’s neck, killing it and at the same time floated a relieved expression.

It was considerably more fierce than I thought it would be and because of that, I used a vast amount of my pooled MP.

A sense of accomplishment flooded me when I achieved my goal.

The battle between humans and monsters was extremely fierce, but I thought that stampede would be suppressed by the effort of human beings as it was.

But it did not come to be.

In a sense it can be said to be suppressed, I guess?

When the battle had gradually settled down, a fight amongst the humans began and due to it a massive explosion happened.

To that effect, this city has become a wasteland.

That really surprised me!

I was just going to spend my days till me existence withered……

On one side, a woman that caused a massive explosion, and now, though immature, a boy with considerable power has shown up.

I decided to give it up to this boy.

My existence is a thin one, but there is every intention to aid my corporeal body.

If the Black Dragon can be subjugated and the seal released, my existence as my corporeal form can resume.

I can help my corporeal body! My spiritual existence will disappear though.

「Yaa! Yaaa! My name is Chronos Spirit of Time. I’m a spirit without a body, even if I say it myself!」

We suddenly got an enthusiastic greeting.

At first, I was wary, but after I heard Chronos’ story, I let my guard down.
